Dollar Store Christmas Candy Jar

Glue-the-Components-Together-and-Add-Candy-200x300 Dollar Store Christmas Candy Jar

I always have empty jars and dollar store finds on hand for my various projects.  In this case, I had a dollar store candle holder and an empty pasta sauce jar so I decided to make a Dollar Store Christmas Candy Jar.  Rather than Red and Green, I decided to make this candy jar from Blue and white so it can be used for Hanukkah as well. I also wanted a chalky matte finish to this jar so I used chalkboard paint and standard acrylic paints.

What you will Need:

  • 1 Dollar store candle holder
  • 1 Empty jar
  • Mason Jar Handle (Optional)
  • Painter’s tape
  • chalkboard paintir?t=sewvercra-20&l=ur2&o=1&camp=1789 Dollar Store Christmas Candy Jar
  • Acrylic paint
  • Small drawer pull
